New Transfer Application 2026-2027

Introduction

Welcome to Arlington Independent School District Transfer Application for 2026-2027. Please note the following information below:

  • If a spot becomes available, there will be no fee for each transfer.
  • All requests will be checked for accuracy; any inaccurate information may result in your application not being processed.
  • A separate online Transfer Application request form must be completed for each student.
  • All transfer students must follow AISD athletic transfer policy.
  • Please print a copy of your Submission Confirmation for your records.
  • Online applications will be accepted during the time frame posted on our website at www.aisd.net/transfers. 
  • Applications will be reviewed and verified.
  • If an application is for a non-PEG campus during a PEG window, the application will be cancelled.
  • Notifications will be sent out during the dates posted on our website at www.aisd.net/transfers. You will be notified by email if you are offered a transfer. The email will come from "PowerSchool Enrollment".
  • The status of your application will be available upon notification from PowerSchool. Waitlist indicates an offer has not been made or is not available. Seated indicates a need for a response to accept the offer of a Transfer.
  • If you receive an offer and accept a transfer seat, you will need to provide official attendance and discipline records from the current campus. This does not apply to pre-k and kindergarten students that have never been in school.

By submitting the Transfer Application, you are acknowledging that you understand the following conditions:

  1. All transfers must have acceptable attendance and discipline issues to campus administration.
  2. The student and their parent/guardian must follow all rules and regulations of the District, including those for student conduct and attendance. Violation of the District’s rules and regulation’s may result in revocation of the transfer agreement.
  3. UIL Eligibility: All University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules shall be followed when considering transfer requests. The receiving campus principal and athletics director or fine arts director, as appropriate, shall render decisions with respect to the eligibility of a transfer student for participation in UIL activities.
  4. Parents/Guardians are responsible for transportation of transfer students. AISD will not provide bus service to transfer students, including special needs students.
