Lottery Application

Welcome to the Christa McAuliffe Charter School Lottery Application!

Admissions lotteries will be conducted the first Wednesday of each month, as needed, starting February 5, 2025. Lottery applications are due the Friday before the first Wednesday of each month.

The first lottery deadline is February 3, 2025 and the first lottery will be held on February 5, 2025.

If there are open seats and no waitlist, we will conduct a lottery. If there are no open seats or if there is an active waitlist, a lottery will not be held that month. However, any lottery applications from that month will be included in the next month lottery. We will continue to run lotteries until we no longer have seats to fill.

*If the lottery needs to be postponed due to weather or other emergency, the lottery will be rescheduled for the first Thursday of the month (e.g. February 6, 2025).

The information included in this lottery application must be accurate. In the case that falsified statements or documents are submitted, the school may retract or rescind an offer of admission, unenroll a student, or terminate the enrollment of a currently attending student.

In this year's lottery application, McAuliffe has added a question about preferred language so that we can improve our communication with families before and after the admission lottery in March. Proof of residence

Proof of residence in Massachusetts is a requirement of this application. Please upload one image or PDF of proof of residency dated within the past 60 days:

 

  • A bill: gas, electricity, cable, or water OR
  • A rental/lease agreement or mortgage statement 
  • Proof of residency must be within last 6 month
  • Name on proof much match parent name on application

I verify the above information to be correct, and I understand that completion of this form does not guarantee placement in a school. I further understand that I cannot register my child without appropriate proof of residence and that only one application can be submitted per child.

I understand that a child admitted under false information is illegally enrolled and could result in disenrollment upon discovery. I further understand that it is my responsibility as the Parent/Legal Guardian to immediately inform the district of any changes to the information provided.
