First time attending Arlington Public Schools.

Do NOT select this option for students who attended or currently attend Menotomy Preschool.

 Students already enrolled in Arlington Public Schools do NOT need to re-register, even when moving to a new grade level or changing schools (for example, from elementary to middle school or from middle to high school). 

We have streamlined this form because your student recently attended Arlington Public Schools, and your information on file should still be up to date in our Student Information System. The remaining questions must be answered in accordance with APS policy.

A member of the registration team will review your submission. If your student did not attend APS within the last six months, or if your family has moved and your address has changed, you may be asked to complete the full registration form instead.

If you are unsure of the exact date your student last attended, please contact our Registration Office at registration@arlington.k12.ma.us so we can help determine which form is required.

METCO applications must be completed and accepted before using this form to register for Arlington Public Schools.

Eligibility Criteria for the METCO Program Students MUST:

• Live in Boston
• Be at least five years old on or before August 31 of the school year
• Be entering grades K–10

This form is intended for Arlington residents that do not attend APS but still wish to receive Special Education services from the district. If you would like to have your student attend classes in Arlington, please use either the New Student Registration or Previously Attended student type from the dropdown above.

This student type is for students currently enrolled in Menotomy Preschool and will be registering for Kindergarten for the following school year.

This student type should be used for an APS employee that does not live in the town of Arlington and has already received approval from the Superintendent's office to Register their child for APS.
